Fundraising Events

Since 2004, OCD-UK has helped support adults and children suffering with OCD, their families, and the mental health professionals who treat them. Our ability to fulfil our mission and expand our outreach depends on the generosity of people like you. Some people simply choose to make a donation, others prefer to take part in a sponsored event.

Cash - every penny will help usWe have a created a comprehensive list of sponsored events in aid of OCD-UK that you may wish to take part in, although of course you may wish to create your own event, take a look at our A-Z of fundraising. Regardless of which event you want to take part in, you can create your very own online sponsorship page to email to family and friends on the OCD-UK pages on either the Just Giving or the Virgin Money Giving websites. Both are tools designed to help you fundraise online, whichever site you use the money comes straight to OCD-UK once your friends have sponsored you.

Help OCD-UK to continue our work by supporting those undertaking an event on our behalf, literally, every penny helps.

There are many fun ways to raise money for OCD-UK and involve your work colleagues at the same time.

We've compiled a list of some of these, and of course you may also come up with your own ideas, let us know if they work and we can add them to the list, and of course we will support you with any leaflets or advice that you may need in your fundraising quest.

The key to success for a successful fundraising event is to keep it fun and friendly.

Supermarket Collections

Supermarket collections are a great way to raise both the vital funds needed to help keep OCD-UK running, but also to raise awareness of the illness. The collections are only possible with the help of our team of volunteers, and we would be delighted if you would consider organising a collection in a supermarket near you.

The key to success for a successful supermarket collection is preparation, and of course the ability to be pleasant and approachable, whilst wearing a smile during your fundraising collection.
