Please note that there are now two groups being held in Norwich.
NORWICH CBT ACTION GROUP (weekly)
… for OCD Sufferers that have already begun the process of recovery!
By way of discussion, vigorous debate and brainstorming, this weekly evening group is very positive, practical and upbeat in their approach to overcoming the difficulties of OCD. This exclusive group is open to OCD Sufferers determined to make changes, who have either undergone a course in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) or who have a theoretical understanding of this therapy. The group’s members are very proactive with CBT and continually strive to make improvements in their condition. Their focus is putting CBT into practice, studying/examining it’s theory and the mentoring of this process. This weekly group meets every Tuesday evening with the exception of the first Tuesday in the month, which is reserved for the group below. Members of the Weekly CBT Action Group are very welcome to attend the Monthly OCD Support Group, as well as, if they wish to do so.
NORWICH OCD SUPPORT GROUP FOR CARERS AND SUFFERERS (monthly)
This monthly evening group is open to Carers and Sufferers of OCD who want to gain a better understanding of the disorder and be inspired. The group does not provide treatment, it offers support in a non-judgemental, confidential environment and an opportunity to share/communicate knowledge and personal experiences. This monthly group meets on the first Tuesday of every month.
