Clomipramine (Anafranil) is a tricyclic antidepressant (TCA).

(Trade Name: Anafranil)

Form: tablets or capsules.
Children: Not recommended.
Adult dose : Initially 25 mg each day and if there are no significant adverse effects increase gradually over 2 weeks to 100–150 mg daily. At 4–6 weeks, if there is an inadequate treatment response, increase gradually up to a maximum dose of 250 mg daily.
Older people: Initially 10mg daily, increments to be administered slowly in older adults.
Half-life: 35 hours
