Welcome Sue... our new children and young people lead

This week we welcomed Sue Millichap who joined team OCD-UK as our new Children and Young People's Lead and is already preparing to launch two brand new projects aimed at young people with OCD later in May! She prepared a few words to introduce herself.

My name is Sue and I’m the new Children and Young People’s Lead for OCD-UK. As someone who first experienced Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder as a child, I feel very excited about working with children and young people on their journey with OCD and collaborate with them to create positive outcomes and inspire others. Current projects underway (funded by Children in Need and Awards for All) are aimed at young people aged 13 to 18 with opportunities for 18 to 25 year olds to provide input and support. If you (or a young person you know) are interested in getting involved, please get in touch with me sue@ocduk.org.

Sue later tweeted how excited she is to be working with us, and we very much look forward to working with her.... "An exciting new journey ahead with @OCDUK! Really proud to work for such a fantastic charity and work with children and young people with OCD. #OCD".
