"The door is me looking out to the outside world. The door has no handle because I'm not sure how to get out there. The words around the edge are the OCD. The window I started just before the end. They are all the good things outside the door and the window. That often feel scary and out of reach. I was inspired by Kira Lee - American artist who uses words to create her art work." - Emma

"The hydra part represents the way OCD can change themes sometimes so it can feel like when we have cut the head off the beast another 'what if' pops up in its place. The paper tiger parts are based on the idea that the thoughts seem dangerous and scary but have no real substance. Just like a tiger made of paper."

"The edged lines shows the anxiety. The colours show the potential and beauty of being humans and living. The hand shows the OCD that hides and blinds our reality, sometimes, but always in hope for 'never again', 'not too long now' and 'perhaps next month'." - Daniella
