The world’s greatest festival of cycling returns on Sunday 28th May, with a new format, exciting new route and a new partnership with Essex County Council.

The RideLondon-Essex 100 is a unique opportunity to ride 100 miles on traffic-free roads through the heart of London and neighbouring Essex. The event will start on Victoria Embankment and finish to rapturous applause at the iconic Tower Bridge, with 65 miles through some of Essex’s most beautiful countryside and villages in between finishing on the iconic Tower Bridge in London.

Slower cyclists can enjoy a challenging ride while faster riders will relish the opportunity to pit themselves against the country’s top amateurs.

The RideLondon 100 will start in wave starts from 06:00 and participants will need to be able to finish the 100 miles within around 8 hours in order to finish safely.

Please Note: You will need your own bicycle and cycling helmet to take part.

What’s the difference between a charity place and an own place?

Charity place:
If you have not entered the ballot in the official event, or if you did enter and have been contacted to say you were unsuccessful in the ballot results, then this option it for you. OCD-UK has guaranteed charity places and therefore by clicking ‘Charity Place’ you will be offered a guaranteed place in the event. We ask for a registration fee to be paid and once we receive this we will send you a welcome pack which will include an OCD-UK fundraising T-shirt.

Own place:
If you have entered the ballot in the official event, via their own website, and they have contacted you to say you have a place in the event, then this option is for you. By clicking on ‘Own place’ you are choosing to fundraise for OCD-UK, and you will be taken through the steps to create your fundraising account. OCD-UK will take some details so we can send you a welcome pack in the post with an OCD-UK fundraising T-shirt. This option is free because you already have a place and we don't request any minimum fundraising amount.

Thank You, we look forward to welcoming you to Team OCD-UK.
