Tuesday 28th January, 8pm.
Culture, identity and diversity in OCD is not something that we talk about too often, yet culture, identity and diversity can affect how we experience OCD and its treatment. This interactive talk and discussion will cover different aspects of identity, diversity and examples of how our identity may affect how we experience OCD and shape the therapy journey.
The purpose of this discussion is to offer an explorative space to discuss culture, identity and diversity and to learn from one another’s experiences. Those attending will be invited to contribute their own experiences should they feel comfortable doing this. As this is a group discussion, we will not be able to cover individual experiences in detail or offer individual advice.
This discussion will be led by Laura from OCD-UK who has lived experience of OCD and Dr Gazal, Clinical Psychologist.
If this discussion is of interest, please join us on Zoom on Tuesday 28th January (8pm-9pm). Access is free of charge, but places are limited so we ask please only reserve a place if you are able to attend. This session will not be recorded.
