This is the in-person workshop page

This page is for in-person workshop information and bookings only. For more information about the parent project, and the online options, please go back to the parent project homepage by clicking the orange button below.

How do I book a place on an in-person  workshop?

You can find the booking options at the bottom of this page, however, please scroll down and read all of the information on this page before accessing the booking page. It’s important you know more information about the project and the workshops before booking.

Important Information

Please read through this list of important information before booking your ticket. If you have any other questions, please contact us at parents@ocduk.org. You can find the full list of FAQ's on our main parent project homepage.

Attendees have the opportunity to attend one workshop only

It’s important that all parents and carers have access to our workshops, and therefore we are unable to offer tickets to anyone who has already attended a workshop, whether that be online or in-person. Please choose which workshop is suitable for you. Please know that after the workshop you will still have full access to our other support services, including phone support, online support groups, and email support.

This workshop is strictly for parents and carers with children between the ages of 5-18 only

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer spaces to parents who have children over the age of 18. This is because the content is only relevant for parents who have children in the CAMHS age bracket (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services). These ages are 5-18. Our funding also only covers this particular demographic.

Please only book a ticket if you know you can attend

We ask kindly that you only book a ticket if you know you are able to attend. Whilst we understand that cancellations can and do happen for unforeseen circumstances, it’s important to us that we limit the chances as much as possible. We also have a strict no-show policy as it’s important that cancellations are offered to parents who wish to attend and are on our waiting list.

We can’t accept walk in’s

Tickets are limited and we let the venue know exact numbers for refreshments and delegate spaces. Therefore, if you turn up with someone who hasn’t booked a ticket, unfortunately we will not be in a position to offer them to stay. The workshops are only available to parents or carers of children with OCD, and therefore we can’t offer places to friends, siblings, or grandparents unless they are a primary carer of the child who is experiencing OCD. If you are attending with your partner or your child's other parent, please select two tickets as spaces are limited and the venue will need to know how many delegates will be attending.

Lunch is provided

When you book a ticket the form will ask you for any dietary requirements. Again, please let us know in good time if you are no longer able to attend so we can inform the venue to avoid us paying the fee, or so we offer your ticket to another parent wishing to attend.

Adults only

The workshops are only suitable for parents/carers, and we cannot offer tickets to children. It’s important that parents/carers have the space to talk about how they feel, access the support they need, and learn about OCD without the presence of their child, or any others.
